Transporting residents back in time to the glamorous era of flapper dresses and jazz, the 1920s party at Robson Reserve was a roaring success. The grandeur of the Great Gatsby-inspired decorations, coupled with the lively jazz tunes, set the stage for a night of elegance and fun. Residents donned their finest attire, embracing the spirit of the Roaring Twenties with feathered headbands personalized to their style, before hitting the dance floor. The unbelievable team within this senior community acted the part as well, working the prohibition bar and dressing the part. Robson Reserve at PebbleCreek’s party even included a bouncer (their phenomenal Transportation Coordinator, Ian), and a secret password to get in. The team went all out with preparations throughout the week to get residents excited and feel like they were taking a step back in time at this senior living community.
The private dining room transformed into a speakeasy, featuring classic cocktails and a dance floor that witnessed both seasoned dancers and newcomers trying out the Charleston. The laughter echoed through the room as residents celebrated the bygone era with a sense of nostalgia and shared joy. The walls of the private dining room were adorned with pictures of the era with some little-known facts of history; to not only make this an amazing party for residents to enjoy but also a learning experience.
Rolling the Dice
The thrill of anticipation and the sound of shuffling cards filled the air at the Reserve’s Casino Night. Residents and their guests gathered for an evening of high-stakes fun and entertainment. The community transformed into a dazzling casino, complete with blackjack tables, roulette wheels, and poker games. The professional dealers ensured that everyone had a chance to experience the excitement of the casino floor.
For residents not participating in the casino-style games, the Robson Reserve team ensured that everyone was enjoying an engaged retirement lifestyle with a wide variety of additional event activities. The live music, overall exciting ambiance, and delectable hors d’oeuvres were enjoyed by all.

The Robson Reserve annual Oktoberfest celebration wasn’t just a party; it was a portal to Bavaria. Under autumn skies, the air thrummed with oompah music as residents, families, and friends feasted on German delights. Pretzel bites with beer cheese and pork belly and cabbage fritters, to apple tarts and German chocolate truffles – every bite, every sip, offered an authentic Oktoberfest experience. More than just celebrating German heritage, this event connected residents through tradition to enjoy an engaged retirement lifestyle.
Celebrate the Season with Lights Sparkling Bright
As the holiday season approached, our senior retirement community for independent living and assisted living transformed into a winter wonderland. Common areas featured decorated trees designed by the community Wellness team, who not only tirelessly care for our residents but also are extremely talented designers. One of the amazing team members, Krys, created her annual themed trees throughout the community. Residents came together throughout the season to share in the joy with Dickens Carolers singing classic tunes, and the aroma of holiday treats wafting through the air.
The highlight of the holiday celebration was the pool courtyard, strung with lights galore. With a charcuterie board spread, a dance floor and live band, and residents dressed to the nines, this was a magical way to finish the season filled with joy, laughter, and memories to last.
