A Taste of Home: Heartfelt Meals for Ronald McDonald House Families

Heartfelt Meals at Robson Reserve in Chandler

Robson Reserve at Sun Lakes recently had the privilege of providing families with warm, heartfelt meals, thanks to our partnership with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central & Northern Arizona. For many families facing their child’s illness, hospital stays far from home are inevitable. During these challenging times, heartfelt meals can be a small but significant source of relief.

“It is with great honor that we have established a wonderful partnership with our local Ronald McDonald Charities in Central and Northern Arizona.” Jim Barrett, the Dining Director at Robson Reserve, stated. Since January, we have been providing meals to the families staying at the house.”

For those unfamiliar, the Ronald McDonald House Charities provides invaluable support to families facing challenging medical situations with their children. They provide a home away from home, offering essential support like housing and, of course, meals.

Jim continued in saying that, “Being able to provide hot and nutritious meals is our way to help relieve some of the stress and help to provide comfort to the families. Thanks to the helping hands that prepare these meals at Robson Reserve at Sun Lakes that make this all possible!”

The culinary team at our senior retirement community in Chandler understands that food is more than just sustenance; it’s a source of comfort and a reminder of home, especially when you’re away from it. We strive to provide heartfelt meals that are not only nourishing but also filled with care and warmth. Their commitment to serving others is truly inspiring and reflects the spirit of our community.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Ronald McDonald House Charities. We look forward to continuing to support families with heartfelt meals and provide comfort during hard times.
