Exciting Excursions for SeniorsSenior Living Events and Activities at Robson Reserve in Sun Lakes

During 2025, events for senior living included some fun trips. In April, seniors visited the Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Farm. There, they enjoyed petting the ostriches and goats and even saw the famous “hole-in-the-wall” deer.

Later in the year, seniors visited the Museum of Illusions in Scottsdale. During their visit, they posed in rooms that played tricks on their eyes. They also interacted with displays. As a result, they spent a day deep in curiosity and laughs. Altogether, these outings highlight joy and pique curiosity. Experiences like these often spark memories and fun conversations among our senior residents.

Celebrating 25 Years in Sun LakesExciting activities and events for Chandler senior living

This year marked a major milestone. In August, Robson Reserve at Sun Lakes celebrated their 25th anniversary with residents and staff. This was a big moment of the year.
Throughout the evening, live music, delicious food, and fun chatter filled the independent living campus. Residents, guests, and team members also celebrated a trip down memory lane. Posters lined the entry with resident and team member milestones in addition to the history of our senior retirement community. Visit our gallery page to see highlights of this event and much more!

Power of Music for Seniors

As the year wrapped up, Motown magic came to town. Despite the rain, Kenny G and The Project band featuring DJ Jamal lit up the room with upbeat music. Moreover, senior residents sang along and grooved to the rhythm. The night was full of wonderful moments and joy.

Actively Independent in Action

From our seated volleyball and line dancing to the inaugural Firefighter Walk-A-Thon at Oakwood Country Club, our residents live actively independent. Each month, our life enrichment team creates a calendar full of activities to keep residents engaged and looking forward to events and gatherings.
