Robson Senior Living is affiliated with Robson Resort Communities, a trailblazing enterprise that has brought homes and happiness to Arizonans for 50 years. Robson Senior Living is currently composed of two luxury senior communities, Robson Reserve at Sun Lakes and Robson Reserve at PebbleCreek which offer independent living plus senior care.

Our history of Senior Retirement Communities
The concept of providing resort-style living was pioneered by Edward J. Robson in 1972, leading him to acquire 2,560 acres of farmland to develop Sun Lakes near Chandler, Arizona. After weathering the energy crisis in the mid-’70s, he bought out his partners to do things his way.
The rest is a history of building award-winning communities for tens of thousands of people who have embraced the Southwestern lifestyle.
2000s
In August of 2000, a new lifestyle was added in Sun Lakes for independent living….Renaissance Luxury Retirement Living. This high-end senior apartment community opened with 180 apartment homes for seniors looking for low-maintenance living in the East Valley area near Chandler. In 2006, this senior retirement community added a second phase offering 148 additional residences.
2010s
In 2012, the Renaissance Luxury Retirement Living community added assisted living services to one wing of the community.
Adding to the existing lifestyle at Renaissance Luxury Retirement Living, a new building was added to the campus in 2015 to include personalized assisted living as well as memory care services for residents.
The National Association of Home Builders – Best of 55+ Housing Awards honored the Renaissance community with a Gold Award for Best 55+ Assisted Living Community and a Silver Award for Best 55+ Independent Living Community.
In 2019, the second Robson Senior Living community, Robson Reserve at PebbleCreek, opened in the Phoenix Metro Area within Goodyear. The Reserve at PebbleCreek features 224 residences, luxury amenities, planned activities, and both independent living and assisted living.
2020s
A new name! Renaissance Luxury Retirement Living at Sun Lakes joins Robson Reserve at PebbleCreek as the second Robson Reserve community: Robson Reserve at Sun Lakes. As part of its rebranding, Robson Reserve at Sun Lakes received more than $4 million in renovations, enhancing every aspect of the senior living experience.
In 2020, the National Association of Home Builders – Best of 55+ Housing Awards honored Robson Reserve at PebbleCreek with a Gold Award for Best 55+ Indoor Common or Amenity Space and a Silver Award for Best 55+ Independent Living Community.
In 2023, Robson Reserve at Sun Lakes unveiled stunning remodeled amenities that further enhance the overall elegance of this Chandler area senior community.

The Robson Senior Living communities both offer independent living and assisted living. Independent living offers a hassle-free lifestyle enriched with luxury amenities, activities, and more. Assisted living enhances the lifestyle with personalized support for daily activities, fostering a secure and dignified living experience. At our Chandler area community, Robson Reserve at Sun Lakes, we also offer memory care tailored to the needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s and related conditions, promoting peace of mind.
How much does senior living cost in a Robson Senior Living Community?
The cost of senior living in a Robson Senior Living Community varies based on your chosen residence and additional services. Curious what the monthly fee includes? Your monthly fee includes dining dollars for Independent Living residents and assisted living and memory care includes three meals per day, plus snacks, for residents. In addition, your fee includes weekly housekeeping, organized activities, transportation, cable TV, luxury amenities such as a resort-style pool, fitness center, and a movie theater. Are the Arizona senior communities participants of the Arizona Long Term Care System?
The Robson Senior Living communities are private pay and are not participants of the Arizona Long Term Care System.
Is transportation to appointments or outings included?
Scheduled transportation is offered at both our West Valley senior living community as well as our East Valley senior community. These include outings for medical appointments as well as shopping, and additional planned outings.
Are pets allowed in your community?
The Robson Senior Living Communities understand the deep bond between you and your furry friend. That’s why we welcome your well-behaved pets. Plus, you will enjoy the community dog park, socializing with other seniors at doggy playdates, and cuddling up with your companion in your apartment home. Our pet-friendly environment allows you to experience senior living with the joy and comfort of your pet by your side. What types of apartment floor plans and living spaces do you offer?
Independent Living: Senior independent living is an ideal option for those who desire a maintenance-free lifestyle with social opportunities. Residents enjoy well-appointed residences within a dedicated community. Independent living includes housekeeping, high-end community amenities, organized events and activities, transportation, gourmet dining, and more. Independent living for retirement offers a chance to downsize, shed chores, and enjoy an active social life while remaining independent. The floor plans for independent living varies by community. Assisted Living: Senior assisted living is designed for individuals who need some help with daily tasks, but still want to maintain a level of independence. The Robson Reserve assisted living options offer assistance with daily activities, gourmet dining, housekeeping, a calendar of events and activities, and can also offer peace of mind with on-site care. Memory Care: Memory care is a specialized type of senior living designed for those with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory impairments. Do residents have the option to furnish their apartments?
Yes! Residents at both of the Robson Reserve senior living communities can furnish their independent living apartment home or assisted living apartment home. We encourage residents to make their new residents feel like home by personalizing with their favorite furnishings, décor, etc. In addition, we love seeing residents decorate their patio or balcony to enjoy a stunning Arizona sunset.
Do you offer meal plans? Are dietary restrictions accommodated?
The monthly fee for independent living residents at our Chandler area and Goodyear senior living communities includes an allotted number of dining dollars. The dining dollars can then be used at the dining venues within the community. For assisted living residents, the monthly fee includes three meals per day, plus snacks. Memory care residents at Robson Reserve at Sun Lakes also receive three meals per day, plus snacks with the monthly fee.
Each chef-inspired dish can be created to accommodate dietary restrictions. At the Robson Senior Living Communities, the attentive dining teams ensure each dining experience is nothing short of exceptional.

Is your community close to shopping, dining, and healthcare facilities?
While the residents at our Goodyear community and Chandler community are generally familiar with the areas, we do have residents that move from out of state and are interested in what is available near the community. Robson Reserve at PebbleCreek is located in Goodyear but near Litchfield Park, Buckeye, and Glendale.
